FAQs:
Do I have to be a helper to consign?
No, as long as there is space available on our consignor only drop off schedule. We offer two separate schedules: one for consignors and one for helpers who also consign. Therefore when the consignor only schedule fills, you will be offered the option of selecting a time on the helper schedule which would allow you consigning privileges.
Can I bring a friend to the Helper Presale?
Helpers can bring one relative (spouse, mother, mother in-law, etc.) to be his/her shopping assistant. We ask that our helpers only bring an assistant who understands that their purpose is to assist the helper with the helper’s personal purchases - not for the assistant to shop for him/herself. Shopping Assistant passes are issued at the Ticket Station 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the Helper Presale.
If I am either a triple shift or double shift helper, do I have to work all my hours (either the 9 hours or the 6 hours) at the same time?
No, we will gladly divide your helper shifts into three-hour increments to accommodate your schedule.
I am not able physically to work a shift; do you offer other options?
Yes, please contact Lori (lori@foreveryseason.net) and special considerations will be offered. It is never our intention to exclude anyone due to special circumstances.
Can my husband (or someone else) work a shift for me?
Yes, just please let us know ahead of time so that we will know who to expect and can alter the job we had scheduled for you if necessary.
What if an unexpected circumstance prevents me from keeping my shift?
We offer you the opportunity to cancel your commitment as long as you did not sign up to during the "helpers who consign" early bird registration days up to a designated date. After that time we will work with you as best we can to change your shift time to a different time. It is important that you do your best to keep your scheduled time if at all possible.
Is my helper pass transferrable?
Yes. In the event something happens and you cannot use your presale pass, you may share it with a friend.
I missed the helper presale; am I still expected to work my shift?
Yes. Since we have reserved this shift for you, we will appreciate your keeping your commitment to fulfill it. We will acknowledge your Helper presale pass at the Consignor presale under these circumstances.
If I am a Helper only, how do I get my presale pass?
Our Ticket Station, located at the entrance of the Sales floor, opens 15 minutes prior to each presale. The attendant will have your pass at her station for you to pick up.
What do I do if I have lost my presale pass?
Our Ticket Station Manager will issue you a duplicate pass. Our Ticket Station, located at the entrance of the Sales floor, opens 15 minutes prior to each presale.
Where do I go when I arrive for my shift?
Check in with our register director or floor manager upon arrival and she will direct you to our helper station (where you will find a sign in sheet, helper apron, and name tag) and then to your assigned task manager.
If I am a helper and consignor, do I get a presale pass to both sales and can I share one with a friend?
Yes. You will get a pass to both the helper presale and the consignor presale if you are a helper and consignor. You are welcome to use one pass and share the other with a friend. We appreciate your sharing your un-used passes with a friend as this allows your friend early shopping privileges and it introduces someone to our sale.
Can I bring my children to the sale?
Yes. Children are invited to all aspects of our sale (except during your helper shift), but for their safety, we do ask that they remain with you at all times.
