Tagging Your Items:
Hand-written or Tag Templates
At For Every Season, we want to
make tagging your items as simple as possible! You can choose to
either hand-write your price tags, use our provided tag templates, or
use our Consign Design computer program specifically designed for the
needs of our Consignor which will save you time. While all three
methods are fully accepted, each method has its own requirements, so
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ the information below for either
Hand-written Tags, Computer generated tag template Tags, or Consign
Design computer software Tags.
Hand-written Tags
● Use a white 3x5 index card—we
do not accept lightweight (20 lb.) copier or notebook paper for our
price tags.
● Your hand-written tag will
include:
*Your assigned consignor
account number. If you do not have a consignor account number,
please email Lisa at
info@foreveryseason.net or call Lori at (803) 327-5473.
*Size:
Please use the numerical size for children’s clothing and shoes
(ex. Write Size 4—not S for small—and give the numerical equivalent if
the label just uses an S for size). Use only S, M, L, XL for
maternity clothing. If SIZE does not apply to the item (ex.
strollers, toys, books, dvds, etc.), you may leave the field blank or
simply write N/A for non-applicable.
*Brand/Description
of item. Briefly describe the item, but give enough detail so
that we can identify items based on tag description.
*Price:
You as the consignor have the control to set your own prices for your
items. We do recommend about 25%-40% of the original retail price for
clothing and as much as 40%-50% for baby equipment (ex. Strollers,
cribs, etc.) and large toys (ex. Powerwheels, Step 2 Playhouses,
etc.). Please price your items on the dollar or half-dollar (ex. $5.50
or $5.00—not $5.25).

Attach
tags to Consignment Items by:
*Using a hole-punch maker to
make a hole in the top-center of each price tag as low as price tag
as your punch hole maker will allow so it will be less likely to tear
off before time of purchase.
*Clothing Items: secure your tags
to the top right corner of your clothing items with a safety pin. DO
NOT use small safety pins or straight pins.
*Accessories such as ties,
belts, socks, hair bows, bibs, bagged toys, etc.: Place items and
price tag INSIDE a clear plastic bag, (so that price tag information is visible without having to open the plastic bag.)
*Other Non-clothing Items such
shoes, toys, baby equipment, etc.: secure with either a safety pin
or ribbon or string. Only use packing tape as a last resort and then
only tape across the top 1/3 of the price tag. Do not use scotch
tape.
*If you make a
mistake on a price tag, you will have to make a new tag. For
security reasons, we do NOT accept tags that have been altered in ANY
way: cross-outs, white-out, labels covering mistakes, etc.
