Fall and Winter Sale

We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting our Fall and Winter Sale at the newly opened Trader Marc’s Expo Center located right off I-77 exit 85 in Fort Mill, SC.

Helper Drop Off

Because we appreciate our helpers so much, FES announces that helpers who sign up on Wednesday, July 21 to work a 3 or 6 hour shift sometime during the sale will be guaranteed a drop off time and be offered the best selection of times and dates.

New arrival to FES…

A Pre-sale for our new and expectant parents! We know it is hard to set up a nursery and acquire all the things you need in preparation for your baby’s first year, so we are offering you a jump start. Please pre-register for this event on the open registration date for new and expectant parents. Be sure to be one the first 100 parents to secure your pass as space is limited.

**New Computer Tagging System just for FES’s Consignors: CONSIGN DESIGN**

Consign Design is a computer program specifically designed for the needs of our Consignors! You enter your consignor account number once & then just enter each item you want to consign! When you are finished, simply print all your tags on white cardstock (using a color printer for any full-price tags) & attach to each item! No more wondering what goes where on the tag: just enter and print! You will receive a username & password when you register to be a consignor at each Sale!

Consignor On-Line Registration

Consignors who also wish to be a Helper: Some of our drop-off appointment times are reserved for our consignors who also wish to be either 3-hour or 6-hour helpers. If you would like to be a consignor and a helper (either 3-hour or 6-hour), please contact us on your special open registration day...before we open registration to those who wish to consign only. Please check our date panel for Consignors/Helpers Open Registration Day! On that open registration date beginning at 8am, please email Lori lori@foreveryseason.net with your preference of drop-off appointment time (please give all availability) and your preference of helper shift time (3 or 6 hours.) Emails will be answered in the order received.

Consignors who wish to consign only: Consignors Only also have their own open registration day, so please check the date panel for Consignors Only Open Registration Day. On that open registration day beginning at 8am, please email Lisa info@foreveryseaon.net with your preference of drop-off appointment time (please give your entire availability to drop-off.) Emails will be answered in the order received.

We cannot accept registration by telephone.

Consumer Product Safety Commission Guidelines
for Children's Items

We all want to ensure that we do everything that we can to keep our children safe from any kind of hazardous items from items containing lead or another harmful substance or items with small parts or clothing with drawstrings that could become a choking hazard. We here at For Every Season Consignment Sale want to take every possible precaution to only accept items that have not been recalled for any reason. For this reason, we are asking all of our consignors to visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website (www.cpsc.gov) for a complete and comprehensive list of all recalled items to ensure that their items for consignment are NOT on those lists. If an item is questionable, consignors should contact the CPSC directly for clarification (800)638-2772.

Home Lead Testing Kits

Interested in testing your children’s toys and other items as well as your items for consignment? Consumer Reports rates 3 of the top 5 home testing kits for lead as really good and ranging in price from $8 and up:

Consumer Report’s top two ranking kits are Homax Lead Check (~$8) and Lead Check Household Lead Test Kit (~$18) and can be found at ACE Hardware Stores, Home Depot (paint department), Lowe’s (paint department), Sherwin Williams, and Wal-Mart or at www.leadcheck.com . e-Brochure vs. Paper Brochure

Partner with us to be more environmentally friendly by requesting we send you our brochure electronically to your email address rather than a paper brochure delivered to your mail box! We will use less paper for printing brochures, AND you will receive your electronic brochure on Open Registration Date without depending on the US Mail! Sign up here!

Consignor Participation Fee

Beginning with the Fall and Winter 2009 Sale, FES will implement a $5 consignor fee for each consignor number activated to help offset some of the enormous expenses incurred with moving to a different location and with the necessary expenses of operating this rapidly growing business. This consignor participation fee will be deducted automatically from the consignor's check.

Vendors

Vendors who do both the Indoor Vendor Avenue and the VIP receive space on our community interest board FREE to promote their business — just provide us with a 8 ½ x 11 flyer.

Reminders

How to Attach Price Card to clothing garments

Please hole-punch a hole in the center top of the price card. Safety pin the index card through that hole to the garment making only one hole in the garment and the card. Your safety pin will be vertical (up and down). We will remove entire card at time of purchase to make our check out time more efficient as we grow.

How to attach price cards to bagged items

When consigning items that will fit in a plastic ziploc bag, please place your price card INSIDE the bag so that it can still be read through the plastic instead of stapling on the outside. This is to help your card stay with your item more securely.

As an optional suggestion, you may place a piece of masking tape on clothes, shoes, and other items with your account number written on it so that in the event your card becomes separated from your item, we can identify who it belongs to.
